I was born in Marianna, Florida. Raised in Dothan, Alabama. I started working at the radio station with my Grandfather, Farley Taylor, on his syndicated show "The Ole Taylor Made Opry" when I was 10 years old. Then I got my first paid radio job when I turned 14. I ran the FSU games on the Dothan affiliate and I did an airshift from midnight to 6am on Friday night/Saturday mornings.
I'm pretty simple. I like fishing, whiskey, sushi, redheads, Steven Seagal movies, and honky tonk country music.
My birthday is July 2nd, same as Richard Petty and Lindsay Lohan. I consider them both AWESOME human beings.
Golf, fishing, guitar, piano, drums, singing, anything to do with music, goofing off, making fun of goth kids, dropping things off of tall buildings, Hooters girls that like to travel, going to the Dollar Tree and asking employees, "How much does this cost?", Playstation 3, GTA4, MMO games, making hats out of fruit, making fake Photoshop images that confuse people
L.A. Confidential, 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Road Trip, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, Benchwarmers, Super Troopers, Borat, Talladega Nights, Jackass 1, Jackass 2, Jackass 2.5, Reno 911: Miami, Freddy Got Fingered, Badder Santa, John Wayne movies, James Bond movies
Superstar Tim McGraw came to the rescue of a fan in need of some medical help mid-set during the Atlanta stop of his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour on Sunday (May 12).
Paula Whitten was taking in an intimate view of McGraw’s show from the first few rows when she realized something was wrong halfway through the set. She tells KICKS 101.5FM, “I just started feeling kinda weak. I was against the stage, so I knew if I got out, I wouldn’t be able to get back up.”
Whitten sat down for a minute to try and gain some strength, but when she stood up, she collapsed. Fortunately, the ‘Highway Don’t Care’ hitmaker saw the fan pass out, since she was so close to the stage, and jumped down to try and help her.
“I remember waking up and there was Tim McGraw sitting in front of me, handing me water,” Whitten recalls. “He actually gave me a hot water at first.” He then handed her a cold one, helping her wake up a bit more. “He was talking to me and talking to the medics to try to get me up,” she says.
Many fans could only dream of being rescued in such a chivalrous way by one of the biggest music stars in the world, which has some envious folks accusing Whitten of faking the ordeal. But “It was nothing to do with acting,” she assures, explaining that she passed out because of the oppressive heat in the pit.
As for McGraw, he proved that he will rescue any damsel in distress, putting his best interests aside. In fact, when he noticed Whitten, he actually stopped the show for several minutes to make sure she was okay — the mark of a truly selfless star. Although the 46-year-old recently dished on what to expect during his tour, he probably didn’t anticipate rescuing a fainting fan!
Keith Urban was left red-faced at a concert when he realized he had been dragging a fan around an arena after accidentally snagging her with his guitar.
The “Somebody Like You” singer/songwriter likes to take trips through the audience during shows to get up close and personal with fans, but he grew annoyed with a devotee at one gig when she wouldn’t let go of his guitar.
He tells talk show host Conan O’Brien, “I notice that she’s just tagging along with me and she’s latched on to my guitar, and I’m like, ‘Hi, give me back my guitar,’ and the further I go, she is just keeping up with me… I’m thinking, ‘This woman is crazy,’ and I’m trying to almost kick her off the guitar, literally.
“I’m pulling the guitar neck so aggressively and I look down and she’s got this top that I’ve snagged in my guitar and I’ve actually been pulling her along for about 40 feet. She’s trying to get untangled… So I untangled it all, like a fish from the net, and her whole top was just sagging down.”
And that wasn’t his only embarrassing moment with a fan at a gig: “This girl yelled out… ‘Will you sign my leg?’ and I thought, ‘This’ll be a good moment, I’ll bring her up onstage, sign the leg and everything,’ and I said, ‘Sure’ and I see her head disappear in among all the people… and the next minute, her head comes up and she throws this thing at the stage; she’s unhooked this prosthetic leg.
“I signed it and then I’m thinking, ‘What’s the proper prosthetic leg returning etiquette? Do you throw it back, do you crowdsurf it, do you make her hop up onto the stage’?… I sort of gingerly crowdsurfed it back.”

I'm doing my show from Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach this afternoon, and here are some things that I have noticed while here:
- Even if it's a brand that you've never heard of, if it's a single barrel bourbon, it's probably gonna be good.
- There's no such thing as too many scallops.
- "John Deere Green" is still a viable poolside song.
- A daquari is still a daquari if you use vodka instead of rum.
- People in today's society have a LOT of tattoos. A LOT.
- My wife looks really good in a bikini.
That's all for now. I'll post more if anything else comes to me.
