Does a car make the man?
I never knew that Luke had dealt with very terrible loss just as he was getting starting in the music industry. In 1996, just as he was planning to move to Nashville for the first time, his older brother Chris, who was 26, was killed in a car accident. The family was shattered.
Luke decided to stay home and work in the family business, but his heart just wasn't in it. So he moved to Nashville in 2001. Shortly after he got to Nashville, he landed a publishing deal and recorded his first album. Then he got the news that his 39-year-old sister had died at home. Luke says that nobody has ever figured out HOW she died. An autopsy was performed, but didn't indicate the cause of death.
So Luke has dealt with his share of loss. So sad! But he's a great example of faith and perseverance.
My friend Renee, who owns the City Walk Thrift Shop on Thomasville Rd. posted this on Facebook today. A homeless man came into the store, saw the piano, and asked if he could play her a song. Here it is:
Always remember, homeless or not, everybody has a story!

There's an Australian company advertising a 'code' all over the place.
They say if you can 'crack it' you'll see that the answer is a phone number. CLICK HERE for article.
Call the number and it'll connect you to their 'batphone' and you're HIRED!
They're looking for engineers who are smart enough to crack this code.
All 65 of their employees have been able to do it!
